Our guides in Manali are the ones who answer, not a call centre.
For our Moderate routes — Khardung La, Manali–Leh, Pangong & Nubra — competent riding experience on any motorcycle is enough; we brief every convoy on loose gravel and river crossings before departure. Extreme routes, including Umling La and the Zanskar Winter Raid, require prior high-altitude or off-road experience, which we confirm before confirming your seat.
Several passes sit inside Inner Line Permit zones. We handle every permit application on your behalf once your booking is confirmed — you'll just need to send scanned ID documents around six weeks before departure.
Camps above 4,000 metres can drop below freezing overnight, even in July. Every heritage camp is heated, and cold-weather riding gear is provided as part of every package.
Your motorcycle, fuel, permits, all camps and homestays, meals on route, an expedition medic, a mechanic, and a photographer travelling with the convoy. Flights to Manali and personal riding gear are not included.
We run six departures a year, each capped at twelve riders, and popular dates fill months ahead. Booking three to six months out gives you the best choice of route and season.
